So, I've been excited to read this sequel basically since I read the original last year. This was really excellent, and I was glad to see Sam still struggling with what had happened to him. John not showing up was a bit of a disappointment, but well, that's John, right? Perhaps he'll deign to show up in the next fic? Which, by the by, I'm so glad to hear you'll be writing!
