K, so I just found this story yesterday (during school - haha), and I inhaled the entire thing, finishing it in one sitting at night before bed.

I need to praise you, because of the brilliance of how you tear Sam's reality to pieces and make him so uncertain of everything---I actually had a dream last night where I was not sure if I was crazy or not. Reality was not a solid thing for me and I woke up a complete mess and literally had to text people to find out what had happened the night before to see if it was a dream or if I really was going nuts and seeing fireworks that weren't actually there. O_o

This was so brilliantly done, I just...*flail* The weave of what Sam believes and what Dean believes and just details that as I was reading I was like 'Fuck I'd never think of putting detail like that in!' and the utter lack of censory for gore! Yum!

There were only a few parts that made me stop, one being near the end when all of Sam's injuries spring up on him at once--you have his eyes popping again, but then a few paragraphs later he can see again. I'm not sure if I missed something, or what, but that threw me a little. The whole scenario at Grand Canyon messed with me too (though perhaps just a show of your brilliance?) because I was sure that it was another hallucination/dream of Sam's because Dean's snapping at him didn't make sense, but the entire thing was soooo good. I saved it in my memories. I love it. I actually winced because when Nick/Lucy was putting the leg cuffs on the first time, the way it was described, I was thinking 'Holy fuck he's going to amputate his legs!!!' lol

Now, have you joined spn_dark_vault? Because, I don't know about your other fics, but this one definately would have an audience there. ( http://spn-dark-vault.livejournal.com/profile ) And I will praise it like crazy. =D

*bows down to you*
